Timothy M. Doyle

Tim Doyle is a public policy and legal expert with over two decades of experience across financial services, corporate governance, sustainability, energy, environmental policy, risk management, and the federal legislative and regulatory process.

Tim is the Founder and Principal of Doyle Strategies, LLC and the Co-Founder and President of the Responsible Business Initiative, a bipartisan organization focused on bridging the gap in corporate governance and sustainability issues. In addition to his leadership roles, Tim serves as a senior policy advisor for Centerline Liberties and served as a senior policy fellow at the Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions Forum, both Washington, D.C.-based 501(c)(3) think tanks.

Through Centerline, Tim works with the Alliance for Market Integrity, a coalition of policy organizations focused on financial regulation and market access. In July 2026 he moderated a fireside chat with Representative Bill Huizenga, Vice Chair of the House Financial Services Committee, on the removal of reputation risk from bank supervision.

Previously, Tim was a senior policy advisor at the Bipartisan Policy Center, where he spearheaded the corporate governance program. Before that, he served as Vice President of Policy and General Counsel at the American Council for Capital Formation. His experience also includes time on Capitol Hill, where he worked as senior counsel and staff director for two different U.S. House Committees. Tim began his career as a prosecuting attorney in Michigan. He holds both a bachelor’s degree and a law degree from Michigan State University and is a member of the bar in the District of Columbia and Michigan.

Robert G. Eccles

Bob Eccles is a leading authority on how companies and investors can create sustainable strategies through the integration of environmental, social, and governance factors in resource allocation decisions. The focus of his work is on defining the roles and boundaries of the public and private sectors from a capital market perspective, and how they can most effectively work together.

He is a Co-Founder of the Responsible Business Initiative and a Visiting Professor of Management Practice at the University of Oxford, where he is engaged in research projects focused on corporate purpose, reporting, engagement and stewardship, and private equity. He was a professor at Harvard Business School, where he received tenure in 1989. He was the founding Chairman of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board and a co-founder of the International Integrated Reporting Council. He has been a Visiting Lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Management, and was a Berkeley Social Impact Fellow at the Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley.

In 2011 he was selected as a Top 100 Thought Leader in Trustworthy Business Behavior. In 2018 Barron’s named him one of the top 20 influencers in ESG investing, citing him as an ESG research trailblazer, and he received the CSR Lifetime Achievement Award at the 8th International Conference on Sustainability and Responsibility in Cologne, Germany. He chairs KKR’s Sustainability Expert Advisory Board, co-chairs Novata’s Sustainability Board, and is a member of Persefoni’s Sustainability Advisory Board. Dr. Eccles received an S.B. in Mathematics and an S.B. in Humanities and Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an A.M. and Ph.D. in Sociology from Harvard University.
